If you are lucky enough to live near Charlotte, North Carolina, and wicked enough to read this blog, you are a prime candidate for Purgatory. Purgatory is a huge fetish dance party. As you can see from the flyer at left, it’s pretty badass. It’s a bi-monthly occurance that has become an alt-southern tradition, as noted by Creative Loafing (Charlotte area alt paper).
Purgatory is a Single Cell Production, a group that also produces the legendary Synthesis dance parties. Single Cell Production is run by the Bruise Brothers, a cooler name I’ve never heard, along with a cadre of fetish folk.
If you live the Life, and love to dance and party with like-minded people, I say get in your ride and roadtrip it to Purgatory.
Kudos to Amos’ South End in Charlotte for hosting this hell-lite for hellbillies.
